from me to you!
Hi there, welcome!
I’m so glad you’re here! You might be feeling unsure about therapy, or maybe you’re just looking for someone who really listens to what you’re going through. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know you’re not alone and I’m here to help.
I get it. Life as a teen or young adult can be messy.
There’s a lot of pressure: school, friends, family, social media, and trying to figure out who you are. It’s totally okay to feel overwhelmed. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or big changes, I’m here to listen, support you, and work together on finding ways to handle it all.
What therapy can look like with me:
A judgment-free zone: I want you to feel comfortable sharing what's really on your mind. This is your space, and I’m here to hear you out, no matter what.
No fake “therapist talk” here: I’m not going to use a lot of fancy terms or act like I’m "perfect." I’m a real person, and I’m here to connect with you in a way that makes sense.
Tools you can actually use: We’ll work together on skills that can help you in the real world—whether it’s handling stress, setting boundaries with friends and family, or building confidence. You’ll leave each session with something you can put into action.
You’re in charge of your story: I believe you already have the strength inside you to face tough things. My job is to help you tap into that, so you can be the best version of yourself. You get to decide what we talk about and how you want to approach it.
Therapy isn’t just about talking; it’s about feeling
better.
I use a mix of tools to help you feel more empowered:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): This helps you challenge negative thoughts and replace them with healthier, more balanced ones.
Strengths-Based Therapy: Let’s focus on what you’re already good at, and build on that strength to handle life’s challenges.
Motivational Interviewing: This is all about finding your “why” and using it to move toward your goals—whether big or small.
But here’s something I want you to know;
there’s hope.
As a follower of Jesus, I believe that healing, peace, and strength are available to everyone, no matter where you’re at. Life can feel hard, but I know that with God’s help, you are never alone. You were made with purpose, and no matter how messy life feels, God is with you, ready to help you heal, grow, and walk through this season with you.
Ready to take the next step?
I know reaching out for therapy can be a big step, and you don’t have to do it alone. If you're ready to talk or just have some questions, I’m here!
